Social Media Coaching 101: One-on-One Social Media Help for Small Business Owners

You know you should be posting. You have an Instagram account and a Facebook page, and maybe a few posts that went nowhere. What you don’t have is a plan, or a person to ask. That’s what this session is.

Social Media Coaching 101 is a private, 90-minute coaching session for small business owners who want their Instagram and Facebook to actually work for them. Think of it as a one-on-one social media consultation: we look at your accounts, your customers, and your schedule, not a generic slideshow. Take it in person at our studio in downtown Batavia, IL, or live on Zoom from anywhere.

$150 for 90 minutes. Pick a time on the calendar above and choose in-person or Zoom when you book.

This is for the owner who is doing their own social media (or about to start) and wants to stop guessing. If you’ve never set up a business profile, we’ll do it together. If you have one and it’s collecting dust, we’ll figure out why. Because it’s one-on-one, we skip what you already know and spend the time where you’re stuck.

Most of the people who book this are small business owners in the Fox Valley: Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Aurora, and the towns around them. The Zoom option means you don’t have to be local.

What we’ll cover in 90 minutes

You’ll have your accounts open the whole time. This is a working session, not a lecture.

• Which platforms are worth your time: a quick, honest look at where your customers actually are, so you’re not trying to be everywhere.

• Business profile setup: bios, links, highlights, and the settings that make your Instagram and Facebook look like a real business. Most of our Instagram coaching time goes here, because it’s where most accounts lose people.

• A posting rhythm you can keep: how often to post, what kinds of posts, and scheduling tools that take the daily pressure off.

• Staying organized: a simple system for planning content so you’re not scrambling at 9 p.m. on a Tuesday.

By the end you’ll have your profiles cleaned up and a plan for your next month of posts.

On Zoom. The same session, live. You’ll share your screen so we can work in your actual accounts, and you’ll get a recording afterward to rewatch anything you want to try again. It works from anywhere with a decent connection.

A laptop and logins for the accounts you want to work on. If you don’t have a business profile yet, sign up for the platforms that interest you most before your session so we can spend our time on setup and strategy, not passwords.

No experience needed. This is a beginner session.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a class or one-on-one coaching? One-on-one. Every session is private, so we work on your accounts, your customers, and your questions.

Are you a social media consultant? Yes. This session is the do-it-yourself version, where we coach you through your own accounts. If you’d rather have a consultant plan and run it for you, that’s our social media management service.

Which platforms do you cover? Instagram and Facebook are where most of our clients’ customers are, so that’s where we spend most of the time. If another platform matters for your business, bring it and we’ll talk it through.

I don’t have a business account yet. Is that okay? Yes. Setting one up correctly is part of what we do in the session.

Will you make the posts for me? Not in this session; this is about teaching you to do it yourself. If you’d rather hand it off, that’s our social media management service.

How do I make the graphics? Most of our clients use Canva. If you want help there too, pair this with our one-on-one Canva 101 class.

Is there social media coaching near Geneva, St. Charles, or Aurora? Our Batavia studio is a short drive from all three, and the Zoom option works from anywhere.
