Canva 101: Basics for Business
Canva is one of the best tools for small business owners because it makes things like creating social media posts a breeze, but there can be a bit of a learning curve when you’re starting. Register for Canva 101: Basics for Business and you’ll walk out of our Studio with a better understanding of how Canva works.
For all things digital media (social media posts, graphic design, website graphics, etc) AND print media (postcards, brochures, posters, etc) in your business, Canva is our preferred resource. In Canva 101, you will gain a deeper understanding of the basic functions, fundamentals, and features of Canva and design theory. We will cover topics such as:
• A walkthrough of Canva from head to toe: From creating a design to saving and downloading in the best formats.
• An overview of the various designs you can create: Everything from Facebook profile banners to product Mockups.
• Basic design principles and elements: Contrast, balance, movement, negative space, proportion, and more.
• Tips and tricks to make Canva work the best for you

Requirements
As the design and editing features are limited in the free Canva subscription, a Canva Pro subscription is strongly recommended.
Please note this is a beginning Canva class. While you should have a Canva account, no prior knowledge of the app is necessary.
