I don’t know any designers who will charge hourly for a full design project. Generally, they’re going to give you a flat quote that encompasses the scope of the entire project. That said, after the design is complete, paying hourly for updates and changes isn’t uncommon.
Can I get a quality website design on a tight budget?
Sure, but finding the right designer for you may be tough, especially if you want a website with a lot of bells and whistles. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for.
Is there a standard or average price for website design?
No. As noted above and in the website design cost calculator, there are a lot of factors that each website designer will take into consideration when quoting your project. There is no standard price from one designer to the next.
Are there discounts or special pricing options for nonprofit organizations or startups?
